Transformers 3 Plot Synopsis

In 1969, the Apollo 11 moon landing mission ventures onto the far side of the moon for a top-secret mission. For the next twenty-one minutes, they document the wreck of a Cybertronian spacecraft with no survivors, confirming that mankind is not alone in the universe. Forty years later, the secrets of that mission are uncovered.

I wonder if they will make some sort of suggestion that the conspiracy suggesting man never stepped foot on the moon (and that it was supposedly filmed in a soundstage) is a planted theory by the government to divert attention away from this bigger secret they do want to keep.

But also, this makes you wonder about that teaser used for the first Transformers movie (filmed by Bay with a cam corder and minimal effects in the dessert) that features the Mars Rover encountering what looks like a robot. If Nasa secretly knew about these extraterrestrial bots all along and the lunar landing was intentional to explore a crashed Transformer ship, wouldn’t it seem strange that the Mars Rover footage was such a shock to them?

It looks cool as always, and I hold out hope that this will be better. Visually the movies kick ass, and its been enough for me to tolerate the weak plot so far. But maybe, just maybe this will be as good as Shia LeBeouf was on speed about.

irector Michael Bay revealed to USA Today that the next villain in the movie Transformers 3 will be Shockwave who was part of the 1980s cartoon.



To have a glimpse of what Shockwave may look like in Transformers 3, here's a Shockwave action figure:
Shockwave is a robot cyclops-turned-laser-cannon, who became dictator of Cybertron , the Transformers' home world, after the other Autobots and Decepticons journeyed to Earth.

"The Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime Transformers character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth."
